Parenting is tough, the daily struggle is real. The competing advice on social media can leave us unsure if we’re getting any of it right!?
This is why I have created a group coaching parents workshop for you. to learn, share and grow in a safe space.
About me?
As a mum of two, I know the feeling of overwhelm, self-doubt and confusion that can come with parenting. And as a Positive Psychology Coach, Teacher and Early Years Educator I have knowledge, experience and suggestions that can help you on your individual parenting journey.
So, let’s create positive change together for you and your children.
This workshops focuses on you as a parent. We learn about parenting styles .
We reflect on the difficulty and the complexity of the role of parent.
We discuss your parenting strengths and needs.
Tasks are given to be completed for deeper reflection at the end of the workshop.
This workshop supports you to reflects on your own individual child/children.
It helps you to focus on their character strengths.
We also reflect on your own child's individual needs and how to meet these needs.
It gives us time and space to make better choices for our children.
Again tasks to try out following the workshop will be distributed to continue your learning journey.
The final workshop is dedicated to understanding the Early Years.
We focus on the seven areas of learning and their importance.
We touch on positive behaviour strategies, self regulation and different types of intelligence.
We reflect on the experiences your child is having.
Tasks will be distributed at the end of the workshop to help you develop into your parenting role.
The workshops have given us a much better understanding and will enable us to improve our parenting styles. Thank you :)”
“I honestly think this should be a workshop that's rolled out across all schools in the area. I haven't stopped talking about the things discussed with other parents as some of the ideas in the workshops are so simple, yet so effective and have definitely made me more aware of the type of parent I am now, and the type of parent I aim to be. I think the contents of the course would be beneficial to all parents. Stella was really engaging (at a time of day that I’m usually falling asleep!!) and so knowledgeable. I felt able to share my experiences and problems without feeling judged, it really felt like a safe space.”
“It was important to me to get any further insight into how I could make any positive changes to our day-to-day structure that would make my children’s lives better/easier/happier, and help them develop further life skills physically and emotionally. I feel these workshops have a lot of good tips on these aspects and small changes that can make a big difference to their development.”
“These workshops were very interesting and enjoyable and I have learnt a lot about my parenting style.”
“Having practical hints and tips on how to develop the skills we want to nurture in our children to build, emotional resilience.”
“Confidentially and a safe space to talk / no judgement. I found listening to other mums/dads stories and advice useful, also knowing we (other parents) all have struggles helps with self esteem.”
It is advised to get the most out of the workshops you should attend all three.
The price is for one person attending not one set of parents. If both parents wish to attend the cost is £125 per couple.
Completing these Workshops on a 1:1 basis is also an option if you don't want to be part of a group. This would cost £150 for all three workshops.
If you have started the programme and can't attend a session you cannot then join another set of workshops as the group dynamic is effected and this needs to be a safe space.
