A diagnosis or labelling process for mental or emotional health disorders
It is not one person (the coach) telling another person (the client) what to do, how to do it, or how they should live their life
A prescription-based or one-size-fits-all mentality that doesn’t allow room for difference or individual experience
Counselling focuses on the past and the present.
It is for people who may be suffering in some way, maybe from a traumatic event or suffering due to depression or OCD.
Counselling involves finding an emotional resolution to past suffering.
